As Senior Program Officer, VCS Methodologies Process Lead, Cameron is responsible for supporting the VCS Methodologies team in administering, overseeing, and improving the VCS methodology development process for the Verified Carbon Standard (VCS) Program.

Prior to joining Verra, Cameron worked with the USDA Forest Service and USDA Southeast Climate Hub where he led project development and coordination efforts for the revision and re-publication of the Silvics of North America. This work centered on providing land managers in the US, Canada, and Mexico with up-to-date science related to the impact of climate change on tree species management. He also worked in the green building industry for several years, guiding project developers in the US, Japan, and Guatemala through meeting sustainable building goals, reducing emissions, and achieving LEED certifications.

Cameron holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Geoscience from Texas A&M University. In his free time, he enjoys running, exploring new landscapes, gardening, and baking bread.
