As a Program Officer with the Methodology Team, Batrisyia provides coordination and support in the development of innovative and high-impact VCS methodologies.

Before joining Verra, Batrisyia worked for the Consortium for Energy Efficiency in Boston, Massachusetts. As a Program Assistant, she divided her time between advancing the efficiency of commercial kitchen equipment and exploring opportunities to accelerate the adoption of central heat pump water heaters in nonresidential buildings. Before that, she interned at Second Nature, providing administrative and programmatic support to project developers at higher education institutions participating in the organization’s Carbon Credit and Purchasing Program.

Batrisyia holds a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental and Business Economics from Rutgers University-New Brunswick and a Master’s degree in Economics from Boston University.

In her free time, Batrisyia attempts to visit as many national parks as she can throughout the U.S. (her favorites are Death Valley National Park and Joshua Tree National Park) and loves cooking up a feast of Malaysian food in her kitchen.
