Verra recently published a new resource to facilitate the development of projects under the Plastic Waste Reduction Program, which was launched in February to drive investment in plastic waste collection and recycling projects.
“Develop a Project under Verra’s Plastic Program: A Quick Guide” provides all basic details that project proponents need to know in order to start using Verra’s Plastic Standard and generate plastic credits.
It covers
- Guidance for assessing whether a project is eligible under the Plastic Standard;
- Information for estimating initial investment costs; and
- Details about the project lifecycle and registration process.
