Concept Note
M0181
The proposed methodology applies to projects that install or improve ultrasonic antifouling systems on various ships, including those used for shipping and transport, recreation (i.e., cruise ships), and aquaculture (i.e., well-boats). The ultrasonic antifouling system eliminates the occurrence of biofouling on ship surfaces and reduces the hydrodynamic resistance of ships, thereby reducing energy requirements and emissions.
