Energy Monitor: “Carbon markets see promise and peril from COP26”
This piece in Energy Monitor by Mark Nicholls discusses the high stakes of agreeing on Article 6 of the Paris Agreement at COP26 in Glasgow this November. However, disagreement remains as to how exactly the rules should be written.
Verra CEO David Antonioli is quoted on his hopes for the outcome of COP26, warning that certain outcomes of Article 6 could potentially “put millions of dollars of climate action on ice.”
