Cathy Sitzes

As Manager, Communication Services, Cathy oversees a team responsible for maintaining and improving Verra’s website, including the overall functionality and SEO, as well as Verra’s intranet, newsletters, asset management, and other communication services.
Before joining Verra, Cathy worked as a Digital Communications Specialist for UC Davis Health in Sacramento, California, where she managed the troubleshooting efforts of all web-related issues and trained editors on how to build and manage their department websites. Before UC Davis Health, she was the webmaster at the Lawrence Hall of Science at UC Berkeley.
Cathy holds a bachelor’s degree in Animation & Visual Effects, which segued into nearly seven years at Dreamworks Animation. After leaving the animation/film industry, her focus shifted to the web. In her free time, she can be found working on podcasts, racing to keep up with her twin toddlers, and enjoying the shade from the redwood trees in her backyard.
