Today, the Verified Carbon Standard (VCS) and the Climate, Community & Biodiversity Alliance (CCBA) announced key new provisions that will make it easier to develop and register projects using both standards simultaneously. Projects that successfully complete this streamlined process are termed VCS+CCB projects.

CCBA is a world leader in certifying that agriculture, forestry and other land use (AFOLU) projects deliver sustainable development benefits such as protecting endangered species, reducing poverty, improving worker safety and adapting to climate change.

A webinar describing the streamlined VCS+CCB process will be held on 11 December at 11 a.m. (U.S. Eastern Time).
