SUMMARY:CORSIA Clarity in 45 Minutes: Eligible Credits\, Verified Supply\, Structured Strategy
DESCRIPTION:Verra staff speaking: Angelo Sartori\, Senior Director\, Government and Policy Engagement. \nEverything you need to source credits that count. As Phase 1 of CORSIA takes hold and new standards roll out across global markets\, we’re seeing eligible credits become increasingly difficult to secure and verify\, and regulatory pressure is climbing. This webinar is designed for procurement\, sustainability\, and decision-makers across the aviation industry who want to win on cost\, compliance\, and credibility. \n

SUMMARY:Proving Soil Carbon at Scale: AgreenaCarbon’s Landmark Verra Verification
DESCRIPTION:Verra is pleased to participate in the upcoming webinar\, “Proving Soil Carbon at Scale: AgreenaCarbon’s Landmark Verra Verification\,” hosted by Agreena on 28 October 2025. \nThis webinar marks a milestone for Verra’s VM0042 Methodology for Improved Agricultural Land Management (IALM)—highlighting how one of Europe’s largest soil carbon platforms is leveraging this framework to scale high-integrity nature-based solutions in agriculture. \nVerra speaker: Viridiana Alcantara\, Manager\, Agriculture Innovation\, will join the session to share insights on the design and rigor behind VM0042 and how it supports credible carbon credit generation in working agricultural landscapes. \nTogether with Agreena\, we look forward to exploring the role of soil carbon in the voluntary carbon market and what’s next for agriculture-based climate action.

SUMMARY:Yale Forest Forum "Assessing Permanence Risk: Developing Maps and Tools"
DESCRIPTION:Verra staff speaking: Liz Guinessey\, Manager\, Food and Blue Carbon Innovation. \nClimate change is driving increasing risks of disturbances to forest carbon in many regions of the world. Successful nature-based climate solutions in forests require durability and robust\, evidence-based mechanisms like buffer pools\, which are urgently needed. Anderegg will present a suite of his recent research that aims to address this need in U.S. and global forests. \n

SUMMARY:Overview of New Digital Soil Mapping Tool (VT0014) in the VCS Program
DESCRIPTION:On Thursday\, October 16\, at 11:00 am ET\, Verra and Perennial (external) will be hosting a webinar to provide an overview of the new digital soil mapping (DSM) tool in the Verified Carbon Standard (VCS) Program. \nThe tool\, VT0014 Estimating Organic Carbon Stocks Using Digital Soil Mapping\, v1.0\, was released in August and facilitates the robust and verifiable quantification of greenhouse gas emission reductions and carbon dioxide removals in agricultural land management (ALM) carbon projects. It is based on up-to-date science and novel technologies\, such as remote sensing\, and enables ALM projects to generate high-integrity carbon credits cost-effectively and at scale. \nThe tool is currently approved for use under VM0042 Methodology for Improved Agricultural Land Management and VM0032 Methodology for the Adoption of Sustainable Grasslands through Adjustment of Fire and Grazing.
