Rachel is a Program Officer at Verra, where she ensures the quality of projects registering with Verra programs. She focuses on stakeholder engagement and provides support to users of Verra’s programs.
Prior to joining Verra, Rachel worked on natural resource conservation in Mexico as a Peace Corps Volunteer. Her projects focused on community climate change adaptation, bat eco-tourism, and waste management. Before that, Rachel was developing the Climate Change Action Plan for the Santa Clara Valley Water District.
Rachel earned a Bachelor of Science in Ecosystem Science and Policy with a minor in Marine Science from the University of Miami. In her spare time, she loves to get outdoors to go hiking and kayaking.
