Nyasha is a Program Officer at Verra, where he provides support to stakeholders and helps ensure the quality of projects registering with Verra programs.
Prior to joining Verra, Nyasha worked as a developer for agriculture and improved land management carbon projects in South Africa. In this role, Nyasha designed soil carbon projects, conducted research, wrote technical and marketing content, and developed tools for streamlining farm level GHG accounting and biogeochemical modelling as required for verified soil carbon sequestration.
Nyasha earned a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Engineering and Natural Resource Management from EARTH University, Costa Rica and he is finalizing his M.Sc. in Carbon Management at the University of Edinburgh in Scotland. In his free time, Nyasha enjoys traveling, landscape photography, and playing tennis.
