As a Senior Program Officer, International Climate Policy, Nandita tracks the evolution of climate policy at the national and international levels and assesses developments in voluntary and compliance carbon markets. She supports Verra’s work to develop new opportunities for its carbon standards and shape new frameworks for private and public sector finance.

Prior to joining Verra, Nandita worked as a carbon market reporter at OPIS, IHS Markit. Before that, Nandita worked for eight years reporting on various commodity markets at S&P Global.

She has also freelanced as a consulting advisor on carbon markets.

She holds a Master’s degree in Economics from the University of Warwick and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Delhi. She also holds a Graduate Diploma in Law from the University of Law, London.
