Harri Washington
Manager, Technical Editing
Harri is Manager, Technical Editing at Verra. In this role she is responsible for ensuring that program documents, standards, methodologies, and other technical publications from the Program Innovation and Development Department are clear, concise, and factually correct.
Prior to joining Verra, Harri worked as a freelance technical editor and writer in conservation and environmental sciences, supporting non-governmental organizations, governments, researchers, and academic journals. She has also worked for the Wildlife Conservation Society in Gabon and Cambodia, where in her most recent role as Program Specialist she provided project support for two REDD+ projects and advised on sustainable financing strategies. Other experience includes working with communities to develop benefit sharing strategies, biodiversity research, and capacity building of conservation professionals.
Harri holds an MSc in Conservation Science from Imperial College London and a BSc (Hons) in Natural Sciences from the University of Bath in the UK.
