Public Consultations
Thanks to all those who provided comments in the second public consultation on the SD VISta, which was held from 4 June through 18 July 2018.
Click here to read Verra’s summary of all comments and how they have been addressed as of late August 2018. We’ll keep working to improve the standard. Click here to email us if you have further feedback.
The SD VISta Program was developed with the support of the diverse and experienced SD VISta Standard Development Advisory Committee, integrating feedback from the first public consultation and lessons learned from ongoing pilot projects.
The documents for review during the second round of consultation were the following:
- Sustainable Development Verified Impact Standard v0.2: provides requirements for project design and benefits to people, prosperity and planet as well as requirements for validation, monitoring and verification of projects and related claims and assets.
- SD VISta Program Guide v0.1: sets out rules for actors involved in implementing the Program.
- SD VISta Tier 1 Review Option: a proposal for a new form of review that we’re considering using as one of the assessment options for the SD VISta Program
Webinar
A webinar was held on 12 and 14 June to provide an overview of SD VISta and the documents for consultation.
