Using Verra Standards Logos

How may I use the Verra standards logos?

Verra’s standards and logos are the exclusive property of the Verified Carbon Standard (VCS) Association, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization incorporated in the United States.

The VCS logo signifies the quality assurance that goes into each VCS carbon project and credit, and the right to display the logo belongs exclusively to Verra. The CCB Standards logo represents the credibility of a project’s combined climate, community and biodiversity benefits.

Users can acquire a license to display the VCS and/or CCB Standards logos if they sign a legally binding licensing agreement, including terms and conditions of use, with Verra.

The terms and conditions are designed to ensure that only parties who uphold Verra values can acquire a license to display the logo(s). Verra may modify the terms and conditions at any time.

How do I request permission to use a VCS or CCB Standards logo?

Parties wishing to use a VCS or CCB Standards logo should complete a Trademark Use Application (pdf).

If the application is approved, Verra will prepare a trademark-use license with terms and conditions for using the logo(s), pre-approved use(s) of the logo(s), and the Verra style guide attached as annexes.

Questions or concerns about the VCS logo may be sent to vcslogo@verra.org.
