DESCRIPTION:With the release of VCS Version 5\, Verra launched a three-year pilot to explore alternative approaches to managing non-permanence risk. Under the pilot\, projects may use either insurance or a fund-based approach instead of the pooled buffer account. \nDuring this webinar\, Verra will provide an overview of the durability pilot\, including requirements for participating projects and the process for project participation. The session will also feature perspectives from two carbon insurance providers and a project proponent participating in the pilot. \nThis webinar is intended for project proponents\, market participants\, and other stakeholders interested in learning more about the durability pilot and how it may apply to projects.
