Financial Times: “Boon Times Are Back For Carbon Offsetting Industry”

A Financial Times article titled “Boon times are back for carbon offsetting industry” looks at the recent increase in demand for carbon offsets.

Verra CEO David Antonioli is quoted in the article on this recent surge: “We’ve seen a significant uptick.” In 2019, Verra has certified twice as many offsets as 2018 and hired 10 new employees to accommodate for the increase in requests coming through the door.

Kelley Kizzier, Verra Board Member and associate vice-president for climate at the Environmental Defense Fund, is also quoted in the article.
