Oftentimes a VCS project can do much more than simply reduce GHG emissions. Across the world, we see numerous projects increasing biodiversity, providing employment, improving water quality and improving livelihoods. Many of these projects use the SOCIALCARBON Standard to account for these benefits.
Today we are proud to announce that the process for registering projects under both VCS and SOCIALCARBON and issuing VCUs with a SOCIALCARBON tag is now a whole lot easier, thanks to our newly released joint templates. These new templates will allow project developers to validate or verify projects simultaneously to both standards, while only having to complete one set of documents.
